Mi Optics can be incorporated into part of a healthy plan, and has been shown to help with the pain associated with photosensitivity and digital eyestrain, while improving general well-being. Mi Optics is designed to provide soothing green light comfort and may help those living with migraines, anxiety, and sleep disruption.

Mi Optics is also designed to block 95% of blue light, and may help those living with sleep disruption, exposure to excessive screen time and gaming, and rest and nighttime issues.

How do I use Mi Optics?

Mi Optics are worn like any other pair of glasses. When ordering Mi Optics Precise or Mi Optics Pro, indicate if you need to add your eyewear prescription to the frames. Rx is not available in Mi Optics Lab.

How do I determine which Mi Optics model is best for me?

There are two primary Mi Optics lens models to choose from:

Mi Optics Precise uses high-temperature treated glass to deliver the highest-level of narrow band light transmissivity with superb optical clarity. This allows people with light sensitivity to function normally in a darkened indoor environment and perform activities like reading or using a computer. The optical clarity of Mi Optics Precise allows your eyes to rest comfortably while being immersed in a nbGL experience.

Mi Optics Pro and Mi Optics Lab deliver the same narrow band spectrum with our performance polymer lenses. The darker Mi Optics Pro and Lab lenses have lower light transmissivity, making it more suitable for people with greater light sensitivity, as well as a combination of both indoor and outdoor activities.

Can Mi Optics be used in dim light?

Can I wear Mi Optics indoors and outdoors?

Mi Optics Pro and Mi Optics Lab have a lower light transmissivity level which make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor conditions.

Mi Optics should not be used while driving, biking, or operating machinery.

How long can I use my Mi Optics glasses?

You can wear Mi Optics as long as needed to relieve eyestrain or photophobia symptoms, and in the hours before sleep to induce better rest.

Will Mi Optics change how I see colors?

Yes, Mi Optics blocks certain color wavelengths and will change how colors are perceived.

Can I get Mi Optics with clear lenses?

Mi Optics uses a patented narrow band green lens and cannot be exchanged for a clear lens.

No, Mi Optics uses a category 4 lens and should not be worn while driving, biking, or operating machinery.

Mi Optics filters certain colors and can change how signs, lights, and indicators are perceived.

How do I know what size frame is best for me?

Mi Optics Precise and Mi Optics Pro come in 2 sizes, Large and Medium, as well as 2 nose bridge profiles. Typically, large frames are better sized for men, but use your prior experience with eyewear frames as a guide.

The 2 nose bridge profiles are standard and low for lower-profile nose bridges.

Mi Optics Lab is available in one size.

What methods of payment do you accept?

The Mi Optics store accepts all major credit cards.

How long will it take for my Mi Optics order to arrive?

For Mi Optics without prescriptions, delivery usually takes 5-7 business days.

When adding a prescription, an additional 7 days is needed to process the order.

Can I track my shipment?

Yes. When your order ships you will receive an email with tracking information.

What if my frames don't fit me?

Contact our customer support within 10 days of receiving your frame to see if exchanging your frame for a different size will resolve the issue.

Regardless, each Mi Optics frame comes with a 10 day return policy if you are not satisfied.

We only ask that you complete a brief questionnaire during the return process to describe the issue.

What if I don't like my Mi Optics glasses?

How do I get my prescription into Mi Optics?

When adding your Mi Optics Precise or Mi Optics Pro to your shopping cart, select the Prescription Lens option and upload a current copy of your lens prescription.

There is an additional fee for adding a lens prescription, which will be shown in your shopping cart.

How is Mi Optics different from other products?

How do I clean my Mi Optics glasses?

Clean your Mi Optics lenses with the included microfiber cleaning cloth.

You can clean the frame with a damp cloth, but we recommend you do not run the frame under the faucet or submerge it in water.

Can children use Mi Optics?

Children can use Mi Optics to benefit from the same migraine, anxiety, and sleep disruption symptom relief.

Is Mi Optics covered by my insurance, HSA, or FSA?

Currently, Mi Optics are not covered under insurance plans, but we will update here when that changes.

Can I get Mi Optics in different frames or colors?

Currently, Mi Optics Pro and Mi Optics Precise are only available in a high polish gold electroplated frame with black eye shields.
